The Role
The Vice President of Business Development will drive strategic growth and expand Pleio's partnerships across healthcare, pharmacy, and related sectors.
The role will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, negotiating contracts, managing the sales pipeline, and aligning Pleio's offerings with partner needs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute business development plans.
- Create and close growth opportunities across target healthcare and pharmacy markets.
- Prepare proposals and presentations for prospective partners.
- Oversee the sales pipeline and monitor opportunity progression.
- Provide market insights to inform long-term growth initiatives.
Partnerships & Account Management
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships with healthcare, pharmacy, and other strategic partners.
- Develop account management strategies to support long-term partner relationships.
- Work closely with internal teams to align Pleio's offerings with partner requirements.
- Maintain strong engagement with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
Contracts & Commercial Strategy
- Lead contract discussions and negotiations.
- Structure agreements and manage commercial terms with partners.
- Contribute to strategic planning, market analysis, and revenue forecasting.
Qualifications
- Strong New Business Development and Sales skills with a track record of creating and closing growth opportunities.
- Business planning experience, including strategic planning, market analysis, and revenue forecasting.
- Contract negotiation experience, including structuring agreements and managing partner terms.
- Account management experience with the ability to build and expand long-term partner relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong executive-level communication, presentation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-evolving market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in healthcare, pharmacy, patient support services, or related industries.
- Advanced degree.
- Experience working in data-informed commercial environments.
